Reaching Home

This project is funded by the Government of Canada’s Reaching Home: Canada’s Homelessness Strategy, which is administered by the Rural Development Network. Individuals and households in Hanna and neighboring communities, who are at imminent risk of homelessness, may be eligible to access financial support to secure or maintain housing through the Reaching Home Program.

Eligible expenses include:

• Damage Deposit
• First month rent
• Initial utility hook ups
• Rental arrears
• Late rent
• Utility arrears
• Late utility bills
• Move in supplies
• Temporary overnight accommodations
• Grocery gift cards
• Transportation to shelters
• Clothing
• Personal hygiene supplies
