The full-time staff in the Labour Market Resource Centre, are here to support you with your career and employment goals. We offer a wide range of free career resources in print and online. Our staff provide a variety of training and support including:
Open Monday to Friday 9:00 AM–12:00 PM & 1:00 PM–4:30 PM.
- Resumé and cover letter design
- Interview preparation
- Assistance for AISH, Alberta Works, and CPP-Disability
- Life skills workshops
- Budgeting workshops
- Career and occupational assessments
- Assistance with post-secondary planning

One-on-One Employment Services
For individuals who may require extended support, One-on-One Employment Services can help you achieve your goals. Career staff will work together with you on a one-on-one confidential basis to prepare an action plan to help achieve your career and employment goals. From preparing you for work, to workplace safety courses, mentorship, and job coaching – Lynks is working to help get Albertans back to work.
Lynks is supporting Albertans with Workforce Development services to connect individuals with various skill levels and/or barriers to employers needing roles filled. Workforce Development services may expose Albertans with opportunities to learn new skills, receive on-the-job experience, and gain healthy workplace practices. Lynks staff will work with employers and employees to bridge gaps that may be identified for successful employment.
Career and Educational Planning
Lynks is proud to offer confidential individualized career and educational planning sessions. Sessions are available to all individuals exploring options for career and educational goals.
Sessions include:
- Career assessments and research
- Occupational profiles and investigations
- Personality assessments
