- Minimum 1 year of post-secondary education in Agriculture/Environmental Sciences diploma or degree program
- Strong knowledge in plant taxonomy and identification skills
- Responsibility of working unsupervised in remote areas
- Ability to communicate effectively using courtesy, tact and discretion and use of good judgement
- Physical capabilities to perform job duties and lift a minimum of 50 lbs
- Microsoft Office computer skills with MS Outlook, Word, Excel programs
- Familiarity with ArcGIS software would be considered an asset but not necessarily required
- Valid Alberta Class 5 Driver’s Licence
