  • Plan menus and purchase all food and kitchen supplies required for camp operations.
  • Prepare and serve three full meals daily, along with snacks and baked goods for coffee breaks and desserts.
  • Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and kitchen cleanliness.
  • Wash and sanitize dishes, cookware, utensils, and kitchen equipment.
  • Manage food inventory effectively to control costs, minimize waste, and ensure efficient use of supplies.
  • Load and unload groceries and supplies at camp as required.
  • Complete administrative tasks and weekly billing documentation

Requirments:

  • Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent (GED) – combination of experience/education will be considered
  • 3–5 years of camp, commercial cooking, and/or baking experience.
  • Strong knowledge of large-quantity food preparation methods and procedures and ability to prepare wholesome, nutritious meals independently and efficiently.
  • Ability to work independently while maintaining a friendly, conscientious, and professional attitude.
  • Strong communication and basic writing skills.
  • Physical capabilities to perform job duties - required lifting/carrying up to 50 lbs.
  • Valid Class 5 Driver’s Licence
