Industry Permits And Inspections-Foreman II

This position will be based within Special Areas 2, 3 and 4, supporting industry development activities across the region. Work will involve both office-based coordination and field inspections throughout the Special Areas service area. Join our team and play a key role in supporting responsible industry development across the Special Areas. You will help ensure that infrastructure associated with industrial developments—such as wind, solar, and oil and gas projects—meets Special Areas standards and permitting requirements. This position works closely with developers, engineers, contractors, and internal staff to coordinate approvals, monitor construction activities, and maintain the integrity of Special Areas transportation and servicing infrastructure.
- Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent (GED) – combination of experience/education will be considered
- Minimum two (2) years of experience in operational infrastructure, preferably within a rural municipal setting
- Working knowledge of municipal engineering, development, transportation, and construction practices
- Ability to interpret and apply servicing standards, technical drawings, and infrastructure specifications
- Effective communication and interpersonal and a high level of computer literacy (Microsoft Office)
- Physical capabilities to perform job duties - required lifting/carrying up to 50 lbs.
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s Licence
