The Facilities Foreman will be responsible for organizing, scheduling and directing the maintenance and repair of HVAC systems, electrical and plumbing infrastructure, and other building components across a range of facilities within Special Areas. The role includes supervising skilled and semi-skilled contractors and staff in the upkeep and repair of Special Areas facilities, as well as handling additional maintenance tasks as assigned.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) with five or more years of progressively responsible experience working with complex HVAC systems and equipment including boilers, AHU’s, MUA’s and BMS’s
• Competent working knowledge in the care and use of commercial building systems, all tools and equipment common to this position
• Ability to communicate effectively using courtesy, tact and discretion in dealing with requests, complaints and clarification of information; proven ability to use good judgement to interpret, analyze and modify methods and procedures
• Physical capability to perform the job duties required – lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Intermediate computer skills with average working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite
