Position Profile: Alberta Health Services (AHS) is looking for a dependable, highly motivated individual for the position of Environmental Services II (cleaner/housekeeper trained to work in healthcare) that is dedicated to both high-quality work and safety. AHS will provide the necessary training to safely clean and disinfect patient rooms, clinical areas, office areas, and other common staff/public areas in accordance with Alberta Health Services standards and practices. Shift schedules may include a combination of day, evening, and weekend shifts.
Requirements:
• Completion of Grade 10 or equivalent
• Knowledge and operation of computers and smartphones
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time and perform repetitive movements for the duration of your shift
• Physically capable to lift up to 25 lbs and push and pull up to 50 lbs of force

• Previous cleaning experience preferred. Experience performing cleaning duties in a healthcare environment would be an asset
