During this one-day Red Cross course, you will learn emergency skills required to take care of children and infants. Competencies include assessing airway, breathing, circulation and shock (no adult skills), respiratory and cardiac arrest (no adult skills), head and spine injuries, bone, muscle and joint injuries, wound care, environmental emergencies, heat and cold injuries, poisons, and keeping children safe.
